Amy is a trainer and coach who is passionate about helping her clients be better at their jobs. Her overall training philosophy is progress, not perfection, and she introduces clients to the tools they need to make progress in the areas of communication and leadership.

 

Training Expertise. Amy launched Amy Hohulin Training & Development in 1999. She has developed and facilitated presentation, writing and leadership skills workshops for thousands of professionals for her 100+ clients. In addition, she is an Everything DiSC Authorized Partner and a coach to individuals who want to work on communication, executive presence or leadership skills.

 

Professional History. Prior to launching her business, Amy spent 13 years at Leo Burnett Advertising. She worked on the Procter & Gamble and McDonald’s accounts before being promoted to Vice President, Recruitment Director. In that role, Amy won a Best Boss award, mentored new hires and initiated the Agency’s Transition to Work program. That experience served her well as she became Vice President, Manager of People Development Worldwide with responsibility for the training of 1800+ employees.

 

Education. Amy graduated from the University of Illinois with high distinction in English. She became a certified trainer through Langevin Learning Services, completed the Player’s Workshop and The Second City Training Center improvisation programs and took graduate level education courses at DePaul University.

 

Personal. Amy volunteers extensively in her community focusing on causes related to the arts, homelessness and the environment. Amy and her husband have two daughters and a rescue dog named Harvee.
